## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

STUDENT LOST CONTROL ON TAKEOFF ROLL. CFI TOOK OVER BUT AIRCRAFT SLID INTO A SNOW BANK DUE TO PATCHY SURFACE ICE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI92LA078](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI92LA078), Jan 25, 1992: Cessna 150 (N6225G), New Haven, MI, substantial damage. Probable cause: DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS NOT MAINTAINED BY THE DUAL STUDENT AND REMEDIAL ACTION WAS DELAYED BY THE CFI. A FACTOR RELATED TO THE ACCIDENT WAS THE ICY RUNWAY CONDITIONS.

## Other reports on N6225G (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Accident 19750615017459A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19750615017459A), Jun 15, 1975: Cessna 150K (N6225G), Meade, MI, Substantial damage. Lndd in soft fld with hi weeds. All 3 rocker arm shaft bosses failed on no 2 cyl.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
