## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JANUARY, 15, 1994, AT 11:15AM, SF-340 AIRLINE OPERATED BY FLAGSHIP AIRLINES, INC. (AMERICAN EAGLE) REPORTED A HYDRAULIC MALFUNCTION. CAPTAIN BARRETT RAN THE NORMAL AND ABNORMAL EMERGENCY CHECKLISTS UNTIL THE HYDRAULIC PUMP FINALLY ENGAGED, LOWERING THE LANDING GEAR. THE LANDING WAS WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE AIRPLANE WAS KEPT IN A WARM HANGAR OVERNIGHT AND THE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES WERE IN EXCESS OF -25 DEGREES. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
