## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT OF AIRCRAFT N9852B REPORTED NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT EXTEND, AND HE WAS LOW ON FUEL. AIRCRAFT LANDED AT 2335 UTC, 03/13/94 ON RUNWAY 34 AT HAWKINS FIELD WITHOUT THE NOSE GEAR DOWN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. AFTER COMING TO A COMPLETE STOP AND EQUIPMENT WAS SUPPLIED TO RAISE THE NOSE OF THE AIRPLANE, THE NOSE GEAR DOORS WERE PULLED OPEN AT THIS POINT, AND THE NOSE GEAR FELL OUT & LOCKED. THE AIRPLANE WAS THEN TAXIED TO THE RAMP. THIS AIRCRAFT IS OPERATED BY THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI FORESTRY COMMISSION, IN PUBLIC USE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
