## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIING TO RUNWAY 17 AT HUTCHINSON AIRPORT. THE PILOT MADE A RIGHT TURN ONTO A TAXIWAY. WHEN HE ATTEMPTED TO STRAIGHTEN OUT, THE LEFT BRAKE FAILED. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO THE RIGHT AND LEFT THE TAXIWAY. THE CO-PILOT PULLED THE MIXTURES BEFORE LEAVING THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A TAXIWAY SIGN AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED, ALLOWING THE LEFT PROP TO STRIKE THE GROUND. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE CAUSE OF THE BRAKE FAILURE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.. (THIS IS A CORRECTED COPY).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
