## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

POOR ACCELERATION ON TAKEOFF. LIFTOFF NEAR END RUNWAY TOO SLOW TO CLIMBOUT GROUND EFFECT. BRAKES HAD OVERHEATED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC94FA087](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC94FA087), Jul 18, 1994: Piper PA-31-310 (N6CC), Mccarthy, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: THE PILOT'S INADVERTENT USE OF THE PARKING BRAKE DURING THE TAKEOFF AND NOT ABORTING THE TAKEOFF. A FACTOR IN THE ACCIDENT WAS THE PILOT'S IMPROPER USE OF THE AIRPLANE CHECKLIST.

## Other reports on N6CC (2)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19920201004259I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19920201004259I), Feb 1, 1992: Piper PA31310 (N6CC), Big Lake, AK. Left overwing exit window departed on descent. Suspect handle not locked.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
