## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AFTER PUSH BACK WAS STRUCK BY AN AIRCRAFT BEING TAXIED BY MECHANIC. NO BRAKES DUE HYDRAULICS NOT TURNED ON.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB FTW95IA053](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/FTW95IA053), Nov 26, 1994: Boeing B-737-300 (N14336), Houston, TX, incident, minor damage. Probable cause: THE FAILURE OF MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL TO FOLLOW THE TAXI CHECKLIST RESULTING IN THE HYDRAULIC PUMPS NOT BEING TURNED ON.

## Other reports on N14336 (2)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19930929043919I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19930929043919I), Sep 29, 1993: Boeing 7373B7 (N14336), Houston, TX, Minor damage. Appears pilot lost directional control of aircraft as he turned off taxiway to runway. Departed runway to roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
