## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JANUARY 11, 1995, AT 0711 AM, A CESSNA 310R, N3208M PILOTED BY ROY V. SCOTT WAS ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN FOR THE STATE OF TEXAS AIRCRAFT POOLING BOARD. THE RIGHT ENGINE QUIT RUNNING AND AN EMERGENCY LANDING WAS COMPLETED AT GEORGETOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT. MECHANICS FROM THE POOLING BOARD REPORTED THAT THE ENGINE #5 CYLINDER CONNECTING ROD HAD BROKEN AND WENT THROUGH THE ENGINE CRANKCASE. THIS OFFICE CONSIDERS THIS INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
