## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT ARRIVED FROM Z22, AND LANDED ON LAKE A BGQ. HE THEN DETERMINED IT WAS TOO ROUGH FOR TAKE-OFF DUE TO SNOW MACHINE TRAILS AND REPOSITIONED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE ICE ROAD. THIS WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY A TAKE-OFF WITHOUT PASSENGERS AND LANDED ON THE ROAD ON SKIS. THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED TO A WALK, BUT DID NOT STOP UNTIL EACH WING HIT SOME START/FINISH POLES STICKING IN THE SNOW ON EACH SIDE OF THE ROAD. A DENT IN EACH WING LEADING EDGE WAS THE RESULT. THE PILOT CALLED MAINTENANCE, WHO GOT A FERRY PERMIT TO MOVE THE AIRCRAFT FOR REPAIR. NTSB CONSIDERED THE EVENT AN INCIDENT. THIS CASE IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
