## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT-IN-COMMAND, JOE F. COOK, DEPARTED RUNWAY 23 AT EQY, STAYED IN THE PATTERN AND LANDED AGAIN. ON THE ROLLOUT, MR. COOK PLACED GEAR HANDLE IN UP POSITION AND GEAR PARTIALLY COLLAPSED. HE STATED HE DID NOT KNOW WHY HE MADE SUCH A "STUPID MISTAKE". THERE WERE NO INJURIES. MINOR AIRCRAFT DAMAGE. HIS PASSENGER, DAN PRICE, WHO IS A FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, STATED HE WAS A FRIEND OF MR. COOK, BUT WAS NOT INSTRUCTING HIM ON THIS FLIGHT. MR. COOK ALSO STATED THIS. SEE STATEMENTS. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
