## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE YOLO COUNTY AIRPORT (2Q3) DURING A NIGHT LANDING. THE PURPOSE OF THE FLIGHT ACCORDING TO FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR ROBERT E. EVERETT WAS TO GIVE HIS STUDENT, THE AIRCRAFT OWNER, NIGHT INSTRUCTION IN TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS. INSTRUCTOR EVERETT STATED THAT DURING A LANDING HE ALLOWED THE STUDENT TO GET TOO LOW WHICH RESULTED IN LANDING SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST SHORT OF THE RUNWAY IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION. AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS EXTENDED TO THE NOSE GEAR AND PROPELLER. THE TWO OCCUPANTS ABOARD THE AIRCRAFT WERE NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
