## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AFTER AIRCRAFT DEPARTED PORTLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, CREW NOTICED LOUD NOISE FROM FORWARD ENTRANCE. THE FLOW LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH THE CABIN CLIMBING AT 1000' PER MINUTE. CREW LEVELED AIRCRAFT AT FL 25.0. CABIN CONTINUED TO CLIMB UNTIL CABIN ALTITUDE WARNING ILLUMINATED. DURING DESCENT, NOISE FROM FRONT DOOR LESSENED AND CABIN ALTITUDE STABILIZED. FLOW LIGHT WAS ONLY LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON PRESSURIZATION CONTROL PANEL. PRESSURIZATION VALVE APPEARED TO BE FULLY CLOSED. AFTER LANDING, MAINTENANCE FOUND FORWARD AIRSTAIR DOOR SEAL DAMAGED. AIRCRAFT RELEASED FOR FERRY FLIGHT FROM PORTLAND DIRECT TO SEATTLE FOR PERMANENT REPAIR. THIS REPORT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
