## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 02/02/95, AIRCRAFT N28BE WAS APPROACHING WILEY POST AIRPORT WHEN THE PILOT EXTENDED THE GEAR, HE DID NOT GET A GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED INDICATION. THE PILOT MADE A LOW PASS OVER THE AIRPORT AND TOWER PERSONNEL VERIFIED THE NOSE GEAR WAS DOWN, BUT COULDN'T VERIFY THE MAINS WERE DOWN. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED, THE LEFT GEAR COLLAPSED FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT GEAR AND NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED LANDING GEAR, PROP AND FLAP DAMAGE. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
