## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 02-14-95, AT APPROX. 1405 MST, N28634 ENTERED PHX TRACON CONTROL ON AN IFR FLT PLAN TO (GYR) GOODYEAR AIRPORT, PHOENIX, AZ. DUE TO LOCAL CONDITIONS, N28634 WAS GIVEN RADAR VECTORS FOR THE NDB-B APPROACH TO DVT ARPRT. INSTEAD OF TYR. SEVERAL MINUTES LATER, THE PILOT NEEDED HELP FINDING DVT ARPT. N28634 WAS INSTRUCTED TO MAINTAIN VFR AND CLIMB TO 6000 FEET FOR RADAR COVERAGE. ONE MINUTE LATER, N28634 DECLARED HE WAS OUT OF FUEL AND PROCEEDED TO LAND ON A ROAD WITHOUT DAMAGE OR INJURY TO AIRCRAFT OR OCCUPANT. AN INVESTIGATION IS STILL ON-GOING TO FIND OWNER/OPERATOR OF THIS AIRCRAFT. OKLAHOMA CITY RECORDS OF ADDRESS ARE INVALID. THIS INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
