## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING THE FINAL APPROACH TO THE NEW ORLEANS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED WIND SHEAR. AS THE AIRCRAFT TOUCHED ON THE RUNWAY, HEAVY BREAKING WAS ACCOMPLISHED. MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS CAUSED WHEN THE ANTI-SKID FAILED AND THREE OF THE FOUR MAIN TIRES BLEW OUT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY AFTER THE MAIN TIRES WERE REPLACED. IT WAS INSPECTED, REPAIRED, AND RETURNED TO SERVICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPROVED MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES FOR ARROW AIR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
