## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT STATED THAT THE RIGHT WING AND NOSE WENT LOWER THAN NORMAL AFTER TOUCH-DOWN. THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR FOLDED UP AND THE WINGTIP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED RIGHT, GOING OFF THE RUNWAY. THE GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WAS MODERATE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE RETRACTION TEST SHOWED THAT THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR WAS NOT ACTUALLY DOWN AND LOCKED WHEN GEAR SELECTED "DOWN" AND THREE GREEN LIGHTS. MAINTENANCE FACILITY WILL FILE A MALFUNCTION OR DEFECT REPORT. NO FURTHER ACTION IS DEEMED NECESSARY. INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
