## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 1995, A CESSNA 206, N331NJ CONTACTED A FROZEN SNOW BERM ALONG THE RUNWAY WHILE LANDING AT MANAKOTAK AIRPORT CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE GEAR AND PROPELLER. THE PILOT STATED THAT DURING ROLL OUT AFTER LANDING, ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY THE GRAVEL SURFACE TURNED TO ICE. HE WAS NOT ABLE TO STOP, AND SLID INTO THE SNOW. A MECHANIC/IA WAS FLOWN IN WITH A NEW PROPELLER AND REPAIRED THE AIRCRAFT. A FERRY PERMIT WAS ISSUED ON 02-27-95.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
