## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 1, 1995, AT 1300 PDT, N60005, A BEECHCRAFT BE-76, REGISTERED TO SHEILA SHARMAN, EXPERIENCED A NOSE GEAR-UP LANDING AT NUT TREE AIRPORT, NEAR VACAVILLE, CA. WHEN THE PILOT RETARDED THE THROTTLE PRIOR TO LANDING HE NOTICED AN AURAL WARNING HORN AND THE ABSENCE OF A NOSE-GEAR-DOWN INDICATION. THE LANDING GEAR WAS RECYCLED; BOTH THE NOSE-GEAR-DOWN AND THE WARNING HORN WERE NOT PRESENT WHEN THE THROTTLE WAS AGAIN RETARDED. THE PILOT ASSUMED HE HAD AN INDICATION PROBLEM AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT NORMALLY. IT WAS SOON APPARENT, THE NOSE LANDING GEAR WAS NOT DOWN. NO PILOT DEVIATION WAS INVOLVED. AN M OR D WILL BE SUBMITTED UPON DETERMINATION OF THE MALFUNCTION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
