## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 8, 1995, AT 1145 PST, A BEECH 95, N5748V, OPERATED BY ROLLAND C. SCHNEIDER, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUFFERED A BLOWN NOSE GEAR TIRE AFTER LANDING ON RWY 19R AT BUCHANAN FIELD, CONCORD, CA. THE PILOT, ROLLAND C. SCHNEIDER, STATED THAT HE HAD A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN, BUT IT FELT AS THOUGH IT WAS ON A ROUGH RUNWAY, AND THEN SAW PIECES OF TIRE FLYING AHEAD OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE NOSE WHEEL BOUNCED TWICE, AND THE NOSE GEAR FOLDED ON THE THIRD BOUNCE. BOTH PROPELLERS WERE DAMAGED, AND THERE WAS SLIGHT DAMAGE TO THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO EITHER THE PILOT OR PASSENGER. VFR FLIGHT CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. MR. SCHNEIDER HOLDS AN ATP CERTIFICATE NUMBER 1431715, AMEL. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT SEDONA, AZ. THE AIRCRAFT AND RECORDS WERE INSPECTED AT PACIFIC STATES AVIATION, BUCHANAN FIELD, CONCORD, CA. NO AIRWORTHINESS DEFICIENCIES WERE NOTED. THIS OFFICE IS CLOSING THIS INVESTIGATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
