## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT STATED THAT ON MARCH 10, 1995, DURING CRUISE FLIGHT BETWEEN OKLAHOMA CITY AND LANCASTER, TEXAS WITH NO INDICATIONS OF POSSIBLE MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS, SUDDENLY, THE AIRCRAFT DEVELOPED A VIBRATION. HE IMMEDIATELY CLOSED THE THROTTLE AND FEATHERED THE PROPELLER ON THE LEFT ENGINE. ONCE THE PROPELLER CAME TO A STOP, HE THEN DIVERTED HIS FLIGHT TO ARDMORE AIRPARK IN ARDMORE, OK. AFTER LANDING, IT WAS NOTED THAT ONE PROPELLER BLADE HAD SEPARATED FROM THE PROPELLER HUB IN FLIGHT. THE VIBRATION BROKE THE ENGINE MOUNTS AND CAUSED DAMAGE TO THE NACELLE AREA. A MALFUNCTION OR DEFECT REPORT WILL BE SUBMITTED. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
