## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

RIGHT WING LIFTED ON POWER FOR TOUCH AND GO. FLAPS WERE DOWN. VEERED OFF RUNWAY INTO SOFT GROUND. (-23) AIRMAN WAS PERFORMING SECOND SOLO IN TRAFFIC PATTERN. UPON SECOND TAKEOFF ROLL THE AIRMAN FORGOT TO RETRACT THE FLAPS FROM THE 20 DEGREE POSITION WHEN APPLYING POWER. AIRCRAFT LIFTED SLIGHTLY OFF RUNWAY AT LOW SPEED. TORQUE EFFECT AND P-FACTOR CAUSED LEFT TURNING TENDENCY INTO MUDDY FIELD ADJACENT OT RUNWAY CAUSING NOSE GEAR TO BREAK OFF AND RIGHT WING TIP TO IMPACT THE GROUND CUASING SPAR DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI95LA102](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI95LA102), Mar 15, 1995: Cessna 150 (N60564), West Fargo, ND, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during the takeoff roll. A factor associated with the accident was the soft terrain that the airplane encountered.

## Other reports on N60564 (1)
