## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: WHILE BEING DIRECTED BY AIRSHOW GROUND CREW TO TAXI OUT OF SPOT FOR DEPARTURE, GROUND CREW DIRECTED ME FORWARD AND THEN GAVE SIGNALS TO START A RIGHT TURN. WHILE MAKING TURN, THE LEFT ELEVATOR CAME IN CONTACT WITH A PARKED VEHICLE. BEFORE TAXIING I DISCUSSED THE VEHICLE WITH THE GROUND CREW PERSON AND TOLD HER TO BE SURE THAT TAIL WAS CLEAR BEFORE TURNING ME. SHE APPARENTLY THOUGHT THAT AIRCRAFT WAS FORWARD ENOUGH BUT IT WASN'T.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
