## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: MR. SCHWARZ CHECKED THE WEATHER PRIOR TO DEPARTURE FROM SANTA ROSA, CA. HE DID NOT CHECK THE NOTAMS. THE AIRPORT WAS CLOSED, AND A NOTAM FILED. DUE TO SNOW ON THE RUNWAY, MR. SCHWARZ STATED HE LANDED AND DID NOT SEE THE SNOW DOWN THE RUNWAY. HE STATED HE DID NOT BRAKE BECAUSE THE RUNWAY WAS WET. THE RIGHT WING HIT A SNOW BANK, THE AIRCRAFT HIT NOSE FIRST INTO THE SNOW BANK. CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE TO THE WINGTIP AND NOSE GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
