## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON MARCH 28, 1995, AT 5:05 P.M. CST, A CESSNA 421C, N411MZ, OWNED AND OPERATED BY CRITICAL AIR MEDICINE, INC., (IBUA), EXPERIENCED A ROUGH RUNNING ENGINE AFTER DEPARTURE FORM SAN ANTONIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (SAT). THE PILOT, MR. FOSTER SINCLAIR DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO SAT WITHOUT INCIDENT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND A VFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT DAMAGED AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR THE TWO PASSENGERS ON BOARD. MR. SINCLAIR HOLDS A COMMERCIAL PILOTS CERTIFICATE WITH AN ATP. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL INDICATED THAT A FUEL INJECTOR LINE HAD CRACKED ON THE #1 CYLINDER OF THE RIGHT ENGINE CAUSING IT TO RUN ROUGH. THE FUEL INJECTOR LINE WAS REPLACED AND THE ENGINE WAS GROUND RUN WITH NO DISCREPANCY. THIS OFFICE CONSIDERS THIS INCIDENT CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
