## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON APRIL 6, 1995 AT APPROXIMATELY 1928 EDT A SAAB-340B, N323AE OPERATED BY FLAGSHIP AIRLINES LANDED AT ROC INT'L AIRPORT WITH THE NOSE GEAR UP. MAINTENANCE FOUND THE NOSE GEAR STRUCK UP IN THE WHEEL WELL DUE TO THE STRUT HAVING LOW QUANTITIES OF HYDRAULIC FLUID AND NITROGEN. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO NASHVILLE, TN. WHERE THE NOSE GEAR WAS REPAIRED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT JFK AIRPORT AT APPROX. 1800 EDT. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
