## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 4-14-95 AT 1035, A BEECH J35 MADE AN OFF-AIRPORT LANDING DUE TO ENGINE STOPPAGE. DURING THE ROLL-OUT, THE NOSE WHEEL STRUCK A HOLE IN THE ROAD AND TORE THE NOSE GEAR OFF CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO LEAVE THE ROAD. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT CONSISTED OF NOSE GEAR, PROPELLER, ENGINE MOUNT AND BOTH WING TIPS. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE PILOT RAN OUT OF FUEL IN MAIN TANKS AND FAILED TO SELECT THE AUX TANK THAT HAD SUFFICIENT FUEL TO CONTINUE FLIGHT. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR. PILOT DEVIATION WAS NOT INVOLVED. END. NOTHING FOLLOWS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
