NARRATIVE: ON APRIL 23, 1995, DURING A LOCAL FLIGHT AT DILLANT-HOPKINS AIRPORT (EEN), THE PILOT FAILED TO EXTEND HIS LANDING GEAR AND LANDED GEAR UP. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE (BENT PROP, SKIN DAMAGE, AND POSSIBLE ENGINE DAMAGE DUE TO PROP STRIKE); IT WAS EXAMINED BY A FSDO-05 AIRWORTHINESS INSPECTOR. WEATHER WAS NOT A FACTOR AND NO INJURIES WERE RECEIVED BY THE PILOT (SOLE OCCUPANT). PILOT STATED HE WAS WEARING A NOISE CANCELLING HEADSET AND NEVER HEARD THE GEAR HORN. THIS IS HIS SECOND GEAR UP LANDING (FIRST ON 11-19-94). ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INVESTIGATION IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
