## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON THE MORNING OF THE INCIDENT, THE PILOT MADE FIVE (5) TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS AT THE AAC FLYING SERVICE PRIVATE STRIP. HE ELECTED TO MOVE THE OPERATION TO THE WALNUT RIDGE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS MAKING RUTS IN THE NEW SOD SURFACE. UPON COMPLETION OF WORK FOR THE DAY, THE OPERATORS OF THE AIRCRAFT REQUESTED THAT THE PILOT LAND BACK AT THE AAC STRIP. DURING THE DAY, THE HEAT FROM THE SUN CAUSED THE MOISTURE IN THE SOD TO RISE TO THE TOP CAUSING THE STRIP TO BECOME EXTREMELY SOFT. UPON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT BECAME MIRED AND GRADUALLY TIPPED OVER ON THE NOSE. THIS INCIDENT AND INVESTIGATION ARE CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
