## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE DALLAS TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING COMPLEX FOR AN AGRICULTURAL OPERATION IN THE LOCAL AREA. AFTER COMPLETING THE AGRICULTURAL OPERATION, THE AIRCRAFT WAS ENROUTE TO RETURN TO THE DALLAS TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL BUILDING COMPLEX, AND DURING THAT RETURN FLIGHT, THE ENGINE FAILED, CAUSING THE PILOT TO AUTOROTATE THE HELICOPTER TO A LANDING. A SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION TO ITS AG GEAR. DURING THE INTERVIEW OF THE PILOT, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE CHECKED FOR FUEL IN THE FUEL TANK AFTER THE LANDING, AND HE COULD ONLY SEE RESIDUAL FUEL. HE THEN STATED THAT HE RAN OUT OF FUEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
