## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON JUNE 8, 1995 PST, A BEECHCRAFT SPORT, BE-19, N24635, PILOTED BY A SOLO STUDENT WAS MAKING TAKEOFFS AND LANDINGS AT THE PRIVATELY-OWNED BORREGO AIR RANCH, IN BORREGO SPRINGS, CA. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REPORTED TO HAVE BOUNCED SEVERAL TIMES DURING A SINGLE LANDING ATTEMPT. AFTER THE THIRD BOUNCE, THE STUDENT LOST CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY ON THE NORTH SIDE, SUSTAINING MINOR DAMAGE. THERE WAS NO INJURY TO THE SOLE OCCUPANT. DURING THE SCENE INVESTIGATION ON 06/09/95, THE AIRMAN AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR WERE BOTH COUNSELLED BY THE SAN FSDO SPM. THE INCIDENT DID NOT INCLUDE A NMAC OR PILOT DEVIATION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
