## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT IN COMMAND FAILED TO OBTAIN ATC AUTHORIZATION FOR PARACHUTE JUMP WHILE IN BILOXI CLASS D AIRSPACE. THE PILOT ALLOWED 31 JUMPERS TO EXIT THE AIRCRAFT AND IN DOING SO CREATED A POTENTIAL HAZARD TO AIR TRAFFIC AT KEESLER AFB, MS. A MEDIVAC FLIGHT A C-9 INBOUND TO KEESLER AFB, WAS INSTRUCTED TO COMPLETE A 360 DEGREE TURN IN ORDER TO NOT CAUSE A HAZARD IN THE EVENT THE AIRCRAFT LANDING AT KEESLER HAD TO GO AROUND WHICH IF THE AIRCRAFT HAD TO GO AROUND WOULD HAVE WENT THROUGH THE JUMPERS. INVESTIGATION CONTINUING ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
