## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

TIGHT PATTERN. DRAGGED A WING TURING FINAL. WENT AROUND. LANDED NORMALY. HIGH SINK NEAR STALL A FACTOR. (-23) PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING A POWER OFF APPROACH FROM A DOWNWIND LEG. PILOT OVER SHOT THE CENTER OF THE RUNWAY AND INCREASED THE BANK ANGLE TO ALIGN THE AIRCRAFT WITH THE CENTERLINE. DURING THE MANEUVER, THE AIRSPEED DECREASED AND THE AIRCRAFT STALLED ABOVE THE RUNWAY. THE LEFT WING HIT THE GROUND FIRST THEN THE LANDING GEAR. THE RIGHT WING WAS DAMAGED BY THE FORCE OF THE IMPACT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
