## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI95FA285](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI95FA285), Aug 18, 1995: Piper PA-31-350 (N85115), Ardoch, ND, destroyed, 2 fatal. Probable cause: the pilot-in-command's continuing flight into adverse weather. Factors were the pilot-in-command's failure to obtain a weather observation and the adverse weather.
