## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

- [NTSB CHI95LA287](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI95LA287), Aug 20, 1995: Beech 65-B80 (N8347N), Anderson, IN, substantial damage. Probable cause: seizure of the landing gear wheel bearing and separation of the landing gear outer wheel-half and tire from the aircraft after which directional control of the aircraft by the pilot was not possible.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
