## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: DURING APPROACH TO THE PLATFORM, WINDS WERE FROM THE NORTH-NORTHWEST ON THE AXIS OF THE APPROACH. UPON CROSSING THE THRESHOLD OF THE PLATFORM, THE AIRCRAFT SINK RATE INCREASED AND THE PILOT REPORTED POWER WAS APPLIED TO APPROXIMATELY 100 PERCENT FOR CORRECTION. THE AIRCRAFT'S LEFT MAIN GEAR MADE CONTACT WITH THE DECK FIRST, FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR, AND THEN THE NOSE GEAR. AS THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED SLIGHTLY FORWARD, THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT AND THE COLLECTIVE PITCH WAS LOWERED. THE AIRCRAFT WAS IN A LEVEL ATTITUDE UNTIL THE GEAR UNSAFE LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE COPILOT EXITED THE AIRCRAFT TO ASSESS THE SITUATION AND DISCOVERED BOTH MAIN GEARS HAD COLLAPSED REARWARD. AFTER ALL PASSENGERS AND BAGGAGE WAS OFF LOADED, THE AIRCRAFT WAS SHUT DOWN. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES TO PASSENGERS OR CREW AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE SAFETY NETTING OR HELIPAD. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
