## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON OCTOBER 7, 1995, A PIPER PA-20, N6913K, WAS PERFORMING A TOUCH AND GO LANDING AT WEST TEXAS AIRPORT. THE PILOT REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND HE WAS UNABLE TO HOLD THE AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY INSPITE OF APPLYING FULL RIGHT RUDDER AND BRAKE. THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED DEEP SAND UPON DEPARTING THE RUNWAY AND TIPPED UP ON IT'S NOSE. THIS CAUSED THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND ENGINE COWLING. THERE WAS NO FURTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT OR INJURIES TO THE OCCUPANTS. INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
