## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED ON TOUCHDOWN. POST CRASH INSPECTION REVEALED NO LANDING GEAR SYSTEM MALFUNCTION OR DEFECT, OTHER THAN DAMAGE INCURRED DURING THE INCIDENT. THE DAMAGE TO THE LANDING GEAR DOORS IS CONSISTENT WITH THE AIRCRAFT SETTLING ON THE RUNWAY WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN TRANSIT. IT APPEARS THAT EITHER THE LANDING GEAR WAS EXTENDED TOO LATE OR WAS INADVERTENTLY RETRACTED BY THE PILOT DURING THE TOUCHDOWN AND BEFORE THE SQUAT SWITCH BECAME EFFECTIVE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
