## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE PILOT ENTERED THE DOWNWIND LEG FOR LANDING ON RUNWAY 09 AT BROOKSVILLE, AIRPORT AND FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR PRIOR TO LANDING. PILOT REPORTED THAT HE USED THE CHECKLIST FOR THE OTHER PRELANDING ITEMS BUT THE AIRSPEED EXCEEDED VLE AT THE TIME. HE NEVER GOT BACK TO THE LANDING GEAR AND LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 09 AT 0100 LOCAL TIME. AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO LANDING GEAR, FLAPS AND PROPELLER WITH NO INJURIES REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
