## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI96LA033](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI96LA033), Nov 11, 1995: Forney F-1 (N7515C), Estherville, IA, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's failure to maintain directional control of the airplane during the landing. A factor associated with the accident was the crosswind condition.

## Other reports on N7515C (1)

- [Accident 19870424011529A](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19870424011529A), Apr 24, 1987: Univar F1 (N7515C), Omaha, NE, Substantial damage. The engine failed from fuel starvation. The retainer wire for the firewall filter bowl had come loose.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
