## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON LANDING ROLL-OUT, THE PILOT REPORTS THAT HE ENCOUNTERED 5 OR 6 DEER SCATTERED ACROSS THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT UNSUCCESSFULLY ATTEMPTED TO AVOID THE DEER, BUT THE LEFT ENG. AND PROPELLER STRUCK ONE DEER. THE AIRCRAFT WAS STOPPED BY THE CREW ON THE RUNWAY AND DUE TO AN ENG./PROP VIBRATION, THEY SHUT DOWN THE LEFT ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT THEN SAFELY TAXIED TO THE GATE AND THE PASSENGERS WERE DEPLANED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE LEFT PROP LOST ONE BLADE AND THE ENGINE MOUNT WAS DAMAGED DURING THIS INCIDENT. THIS REPORT CLOSES THE INVESTIGATION INTO THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
