## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON NOVEMBER 21, 1995, AT 1233Z, A LEARJET 364A EXPERIENCED A TOTAL HYDRAULIC FAILURE WHILE CRUISING AT FL390 ENROUTE TO PWA. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND DIVERTED TO FWA. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT FWA WITHOUT INCIDENT AND REPAIRS WERE MADE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE TOTAL HYDRAULIC FAILURE WAS DUE TO A LOOSE FITTING ON THE UP SIDE OF THE LEFT HAND MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR WHICH RESULTED IN TOTAL FLUID AND PRESSURE LOSS. DIVERSION TO FWA, EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION, NO FLAP LANDING, AND USE OF STAND-BY HYDRAULIC PUMP FOR BRAKING. THE PILOT HOLDS ATP#02296027 CERTIFICATE WITH AIRPLANE MULTIENGINE LAND, LR-JET RATINGS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THIS CASE IS CLOSED AS AN INCIDENT. M OR D AND OTHER REPORTS ARE COORDINATED THROUGH THE NEW ENGLAND REGION AND THE PORTLAND, ME FSDO.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
