## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

LOST CONTROL AFTER LIFTOFF MAIDEN FLIGHT. CG WAS OUT OF SPECIFIED LIMITS. (-23) THE AMATEUR BUILT AIRCRAFT DEPARTED ON ITS FIRST FLIGHT AFTER COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION. EYE WITNESSES STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT APPEARED TO HAVE CONTROL OR STABILITY PROBLEMS. THE AIRCRAFT PITCHED UP ON TAKE-OFF AND TRAVELED ABOUT 1/2 MILE SOUTH OF RUNWAY 27 AND ENTERED A STALL/SPIN. THE AIRCRAFT COMPLETED A 1/2 TURN SPIN, ENTERED TREES AND CAME TO REST.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI96LA037](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI96LA037), Nov 22, 1995: Krugler Sonerai II (N36AL), Belleville, MI, destroyed, 1 fatal. Probable cause: a loss of aircraft control due to the owner/builder's improper loading of the aircraft.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
