## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON NOVEMBER 30, 1995, AT APPROXIMATELY 1742 MST, AN AERO COMMANDER, N45AZ, PILOTED BY ERNEST R. PRITCHARD, COLLIDED WITH THE RUNWAY WHILE ATTEMPTING TO DEPART FROM RUNWAY 11L AT THE TUCSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TUCSON, AZ. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, DURING THE TAKEOFF ROLL JUST AFTER THE LANDING GEAR WAS RETRACTED, THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED BACK DOWN ON THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER REPORTED NO INJURIES. THIS REPORT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
