## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON DECEMBER 1, 1995 A TWIN COMMANDER, N57071 PILOTED BY PATRICK A. CATULLO MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING AT GARY REGIONAL AIRPORT, GARY, IN. THERE WERE NO INJURIES, WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT NOSE GEAR DOORS. AN INVESTIGATION FOUND THAT A PIN WAS BROKEN FROM THE NOSE WHEEL STEERING ASSEMBLY CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR TO HIT THE RADOME PREVENTING FULL EXTENSION OF THE NOSE GEAR. A M OR D REPORT IS BEING SUBMITTED. THIS INCIDENT REPORT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
