## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON AUGUST 3, 1995, WHILE ON CALA FLIGHT 1901, THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT OBSERVED A FEMALE PASSENGER SMOKING IN THE FORWARD LAVATORY. THIS SUBSEQUENTLY LED TO AN ALTERCATION WITH THE FLIGHT CREW. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND HAD TO LOCK THE PASSENGER IN THE BLUE ROOM (LAVATORY). ACTION TAKEN: THE FBI FILED A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT UNDER TITLE 46 USC 46 504. NO FURTHER ACTION DEEMED NECESSARY. CASE CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
