## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT WAS ON 5TH TOUCH AND GO. HE SAID HE LANDED 3-POINT, BOUNCED SLIGHTLY, AND TOUCHED DOWN AGAIN. HE SAID ONE MINUTE HE WAS GOING STRAIGHT AND THE NEXT HE WAS HEADED OFF THE SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. HE SAID HE TRIED TO CORRECT WITH RUDDER BUT THE AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT RESPOND. THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND WENT UP ON ITS NOSE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ NO FURTHER ACTION PLANNED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
