## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: AIRCRAFT HELD AT JFK DUE TO WEATHER. WEATHER AT THE ALTERNATE, PHL, WAS ALSO BELOW MINIMUMS. AFTER COORDINATING WITH COMPANY DISPATCHER, FLIGHT DIVERTED TO BWI. HOWEVER, DUE TO WORKLOAD, WASHINGTON ARTCC WAS UNABLE TO ACCEPT A HANDOFF,AND FLIGHT WAS VECTORED WESTBOUND. PILOT SHOWED CONCERN ABOUT NOT GOING TOWARDS BALTIMORE AND CONTROLLER DECLARED A "FUEL EMERGENCY." WASHINGTON CENTER THEN ACCEPTED THE AIRCRAFT AND VECTORED IT TOWARDS BWI. REST OF FLIGHT AND LANDING WERE WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
