## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: THE PILOT/OWNER OF THIS AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNING TO HIS HOME BASE (CCB) FROM A PERSONAL TRIP TO LAS VEGAS. ON LANDING AT CCB, THE PILOT FLARED TOO HIGH BOUNCED THE AIRCRAFT, DID NOT RECOVER PROPERLY, AND ADDED TO THE OSCILLATIONS (PIO). THE PROP STRUCK THE GROUND BEFORE THE PILOT COMPLETELY RECOVERED FROM THE BOUNCE. POST FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, NOSE GEAR WHEEL, AND TAIL CONE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
