## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 12/30/95, AT APPROXIMATELY 1845Z, THE PILOT OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDED HARD ON RUNWAY 20, AT MUNCIE AIRPORT, (MIE). IT APPEARED THAT THE FIRST PROP STRIKE OCCURRED ABOUT 1800 FEET FROM THE APPROACH END. DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS LOST AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST IN THE SNOW, OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY. MINOR DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED BY THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT AND ONE PASSENGER WERE NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
