## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: ON 01-04-96, AT APPROXIMATELY 0930 LOCAL, A BEECHCRAFT BONANZA, E35, N3312C, PILOTED BY WILLIAM MACLEOD, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AFTER RUNNING OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY AT BRISTOW, OK (3F7). THE TWO-PILOT CREW STATED THAT THE LANDING WAS TOO FAST, FORCING A "GO AROUND" ATTEMPT. AT THAT TIME, FOR REASONS UNKNOWN THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT POWER TO MAKE A SUCCESSFUL "GO AROUND". THE AIRCRAFT THEN RAN OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY ONTO SOFT TURF, CAUSING THE NOSE GEAR TO COLLAPSE, NOSING THE AIRCRAFT DOWN, STOPPING IT SUDDENLY. THE TWO PILOTS RECEIVED MINOR INJURIES. THIS INCIDENT IS CLOSED.
