## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

NARRATIVE: PILOT STATED THAT ON THE WAY TO THREE RIVERS STADIUM, TOWING A BANNER, HE EXPERIENCED THE BANNER TEARING AT APPROXIMATELY MID-POINT AND FLOATING TOWARD THE GROUND. HE CIRCLED TO SEE WHERE THE BANNER WOULD LAND. HE OBSERVED THE BANNER LANDING PARTIALLY ON A ROOF - POWER LINES - AND STREET. HE THEN RETURNED TO MONROEVILLE AIRPORT DROPPING THE EXISTING BANNER AND A NORMAL LANDING WAS MADE. SUBMISSION OF THIS REPORT COMPLETES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
